Alert IT Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced IT Audit & Compliance professional in Chicago to lead policy development, internal controls, and governance initiatives.

You will collaborate with the CCO, conduct risk assessments, and oversee audits to ensure regulatory alignment and remediation effectiveness. The role requires 5+ years in IT audit or compliance, a Bachelor's degree in IT/IS/Cybersecurity, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT audit, compliance, risk management, or related experience.
• Experience managing audit activities and remediation efforts.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability in strategic decision-making and problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain IT compliance policies and procedures.
• Design and enhance internal controls, processes, and governance initiatives.
• Support compliance strategies aligned with regulatory obligations and best practices.
• Plan and support internal and external audits, including remediation tracking and closure.
• Perform risk assessments to identify gaps, vulnerabilities, and control deficiencies.
• Recommend and track corrective actions to address compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with leadership and business units to deliver compliance and audit solutions.
• Monitor remediation effectiveness and report progress to senior leadership.
• Create compliance reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for CCO and executives.
• Promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
