The Options Clearing Corporation in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced IT and Security Audit Lead to evaluate our risk management controls and regulatory compliance. You will assess management's controls, identify gaps, and present pragmatic recommendations to engagement management and auditees.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple audits in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering/Accounting/Finance/Business Admin or related field.
• 5+ years of audit-related IT and security audits experience.
• Experience with IIA standards and risk-based auditing.

Responsabilités

• Deliver audits within the annual plan.
• Ensure professional auditee experience.
• Own audit quality and timely delivery.
• Identify regulatory, operational, and strategic risks and bring them to the engagement team.
• Evaluate root causes and propose achievable solutions.
• Lead audits related to changes including business requirements definitions, technology implementations, and change management, security.
• Maintain understanding of policies, procedures, standards, and supporting technologies, and educate staff accordingly.
• Apply principles (AICPA, IIA IPPF, COBIT, NIST CSF) to risk management and testing.
• Test and evaluate risk management processes and controls.
• Keep current on best practices and emerging risks within financial services and propose improvements.
• Leadership: build effective relationships with business groups and management.
