Banc of California, Inc. is seeking an Officer, Senior IT Auditor to execute risk-based IT audits and assess controls across cybersecurity, governance, and cloud environments. You’ll perform fieldwork, issue validation, and collaborate with management to strengthen controls.

The role requires IT audit experience in banking, relevant certifications, and strong analytical and communication skills to drive remediation and compliance efforts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CIS/CS/Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in IT Audit, Information Security, Risk Management, Internal or External Audit.
• Two years in banking or financial services is required.
• Certifications such as CISA/CIA/CPA or equivalent are required.
• Experience auditing ITGCs, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, IAM, DR, and SDLC controls.
• Familiarity with FFIEC, NIST CSF, COBIT, COSO and banking regulations.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with management and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

Aufgaben

• Perform a substantial portion of audit fieldwork.
• Execute internal audits, issue follow-up and validation, and other projects.
• Manage multiple audits from moderate to high complexity.
• Participate in planning and execution of audits, including scope and timeliness.
• Stay current on changes to products, services, and the organization.
• Maintain contacts with business owners to strengthen relationships.
• Inform Audit Directors of progress and significant issues.
• Identify areas where controls are missing or need improvement.
• Ensure workpapers are properly prepared and filed; adhere to policies.
• Maintain independence and ethics in all assignments.
• Assess ITGCs, application controls, cybersecurity, cloud, and governance.
• Participate in risk assessments to develop audit scope and testing approaches.
• Evaluate regulatory compliance and internal policies.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and weaknesses.
• Assist in developing audit reports with observations and recommendations.
• Perform validation testing of corrective actions.
