Job summary

Banc of California, Inc. is seeking an experienced VP, Internal Audit Manager to plan and lead audits from planning through reporting, and coordinate day-to-day execution with audit teams.

Ideal candidates bring eight years in audit, five years in internal audit, and strong knowledge of IIA standards. A CPA or CIA certification is preferred, with ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Eight-plus years in audit, with five+ in internal audit.
• Five+ years in financial services experience.
• Solid understanding of internal auditing standards and related disciplines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead audits from planning through reporting.
• Coordinate audit teams and manage multiple engagements.
• Perform testing and review workpapers and reports.
• Communicate progress and issues to Audit leadership.
