Job summary

First Technology Federal Credit Union seeks a senior IT Assurance professional to design and oversee continuous monitoring of controls, risk posture, and compliance across systems and processes. The role embeds assurance practices into engineering and operations, driving audit readiness and resilience across the organization.

You will collaborate with engineering, security, audit, and compliance teams to implement scalable assurance programs and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4 additional years of experience
• 6–8 years of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of IT assurance, risk management, and control frameworks
• Experience designing or enhancing automated control monitoring or compliance processes

Responsibilities

• Designs and advances automated assurance capabilities that continuously evaluate technology controls.
• Integrates governance and compliance guardrails into development and operations workflows.
• Develops continuous control monitoring processes with automated evidence collection.
• Defines and maintains control frameworks aligned to regulatory requirements.
• Translates control data into meaningful risk insights and reporting.
• Leads initiatives to improve assurance processes with risk-based prioritization.
