Job summary

Peek IT Services is seeking a Senior IT Asset Management Analyst for a 9-month contract, hybrid on-site in Reston, VA. You will own software and hardware asset management, entitlement tracking, renewals, compliance, and CMDB alignment using Flexera.

The role requires 5+ years in software asset management, hands-on Flexera, and experience with license compliance and audits. You will manage license positions, ensure data accuracy, and support audits with internal reporting.

• 5+ years of software asset management experience.
• Hands-on Flexera experience.
• Experience with hardware asset management.
• Experience with software entitlement management and renewals.
• Experience with license compliance activities.
• CMDB alignment and asset data reconciliation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage software asset management activities including license entitlement records and effective license position reporting.
• Administer Flexera to track discovery, normalization and license consumption data.
• Support hardware asset management across the asset lifecycle, from receipt through disposal.
• Track and coordinate software renewals and maintenance agreements against contract and entitlement terms.
• Perform compliance reviews and prepare documentation to support audits and internal reporting.
• Align asset records with the CMDB and resolve discrepancies between discovered and recorded data.
