Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of software and hardware asset management within the CESO environment. This role is 100% on-site in Arlington, VA with occasional travel in the DC-Metro area.

Primary responsibilities include developing asset control processes, inventory management, policy design, license compliance, and lifecycle management. The candidate will lead Software Asset Administrators, provide KPI reporting, and ensure audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of IT Asset Management experience.
• Experience managing assets in both Classified and unclassified environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing staff.
• Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle and ability to execute strategic asset management processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop asset control processes to monitor device identification, accountability, maintenance, location and contracts.
• Assist in inventory management, procurement and shipment activities.
• Design and execute asset management policies, procedures and processes.
• Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with license agreements and usage standards.
• Ensure audit compliance for IT software assets and drive remediation actions.
• Provide oversight and guidance to Software Asset Administrators in daily activities.
• Provide KPI/Metric reporting and standardised reporting as required by management.
• Manage lifecycle of hardware and software assets from creation to retirement and disposal.
