Job summary

Regeneron seeks a Principal IT Applications Analyst to join the IOPS IT team as the main liaison between lab-based stakeholders and IT, ensuring stable, supported, and continually improving business-critical applications.

You will deliver Tier 3 support, lead RCAs, manage integrations, and drive permanent corrective actions while working with networks and infrastructure teams across US time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT applications analysis or related role.
• Strong SQL proficiency and scripting in Python or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of change control and release management.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP or 21 CFR Part 11 preferred).
• Familiarity with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, packet captures, or traceroute.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 3 application support including root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions; diagnose network-related issues affecting application performance and availability.
• Configure, test, and promote changes through controlled environments per change management and release procedures; support system integrations across servers, databases, and connected systems.
• Develop and execute test documentation with traceability from requirements to evidence; provide audit support with access controls, change history, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with business owners to translate requests into well-defined, prioritized work; communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts and maintain runbooks to ensure knowledge sharing across the team.
