Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Applications Engineer to join the Information Technology Custom Development Team in West Chester, OH. The role involves new development and full-stack IT support for web and Windows applications using Angular, C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, and related technologies.

AI tools such as Claude Code and Co-pilot are leveraged for design and development. Key responsibilities include project management, requirements gathering, testing, and providing on-call support

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Angular, C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Oracle.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Claude Code, Co-pilot, or other AI platforms.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive).

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and stakeholders’ objectives to define project and technical support needs.
• Collaborate with partners, IT management, team members, and vendors to analyze requirements.
• Plan and deliver technical projects with SDLC artifacts and change management.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for enterprise applications and subsystems as needed.
