Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. in Ohio seeks a Senior IT Applications Engineer to join the Information Technology Custom Development Team.

You will lead full-stack development and provide enterprise support for web and Windows applications using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Azure. The role requires strong project management and communication skills, collaboration with stakeholders, on-call support, and the ability to apply AI tools such as Claude Code and Copilot to design and implement reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of experience in Angular, C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Oracle.
Exposure to AI tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or other AI platforms.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Understand business processes, stakeholders’ objectives, and overall goals.
Collaborate with partners, IT management, team members, and vendors to analyze requirements and define needs.
Plan, organize, and deliver technical projects and SDLC artifacts per Change Management.
Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Azure.
Provide on-call support for enterprise applications and subsystems as needed.
Apply AI tools for design and development of IT solutions.
