Overview:

Sentara Health is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Senior IT Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Managing projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision.
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
• Handling complex and challenging problems.

Education:

• Experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.

Certification/Licensure:

No specific certification or licensure requirements.

Experience:

• Advanced SQL skills using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (5+ years).
• Requirements gathering and creating technical specifications.
• Experience working with large datasets, preferably loading big data into a database.
• JIRA experience (2+ years).
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
