For applicants within Maryland, Nevada, Ohio and Washington States, the following hiring range will be applied : $76,315.20 - $127,212.80 with a target hiring range of $76,315.20 - $101,774.40.

Job Summary

Responsible for day-to-day support and optimization of software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements. Analyzes business / clinical needs, evaluates software releases and / or new products, and provides recommendations to optimize processes and reduce expenses. Possesses in-depth business / clinical and application knowledge and experience. Performs and documents workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for optimal utilization of applications. Develops system test plans and performs testing of software upgrades and patches. Maintains records of test progress and results. Handles problem, incident, change management, and service requests. Provides daily on-call support for application-related issues. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and end-users to achieve application integration tailored to business / clinical needs. Oversees smaller projects or project components. Coordinates implementation or planning around software releases.

A Senior Professional applies advanced knowledge typically obtained through higher education and work experience. Responsibilities include managing projects, coaching lower-level professionals, and tackling complex problems.

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree acceptable.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
Requirements
  • Advanced SQL skills using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (5+ years).
  • Requirements gathering and creating technical specifications.
  • Experience working with large datasets, preferably loading big data into databases.
  • JIRA experience (2+ years).
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
