Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior IT Administrator to own enterprise IT initiatives, including system migrations, integrations, and companywide upgrades. You will manage Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, MDM via Intune, and cloud environments, while guiding junior staff and documenting workflows.

Applicants should have 5–8 years in IT support or systems administration, a relevant IT degree, and strong security practices such as MFA and endpoint compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IT support or systems administration experience required (3–6 years with a relevant MS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong understanding and broad application of IT support and systems administration principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute system migrations, tests, cutover, and post-migration support.
• Drive system integrations across enterprise platforms to reduce manual workflows.
• Coordinate and implement companywide software/hardware upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Mentor junior helpdesk staff and provide guidance on escalated issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
