CesiumAstro in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Senior IT Administrator to own enterprise IT initiatives, migrations, integrations, and new application rollouts. You will manage Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, MDM tooling, and cloud environments while guiding junior staff and documenting procedures.

The role emphasizes hands‑on, project‑driven work in a growing aerospace/defense setting with strong security focus and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years IT support or systems administration experience.
• BS in IT/CS or related field; MS preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking and cloud.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure AD/Entra ID and VPN tools.
• Excellent documentation and SOP development skills.
• Good communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute system migration projects with planning and post‑migration support.
• Drive system integrations across enterprise platforms to improve workflows.
• Coordinate upgrades with minimal operational disruption.
• Administer Active Directory and cloud identity (Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Manage endpoint configuration, imaging, patching, and MDM deployment.
• Monitor system health and assist in server/cloud/network administration.
• Develop technical documentation and SOPs; mentor junior staff.
• Participate in IT projects including migrations and evaluations.
