Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior IT Administrator to lead enterprise IT initiatives, migrations, integrations, and rollouts that support a growing aerospace and defense organization. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of system migrations, integrations, upgrades, and new applications across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of IT experience, a relevant degree, strong Microsoft 365 and AWS exposure, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
• BS in Information Technology or Computer Science; MS preferred.
• Advanced troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute system migration projects from planning to post‑migration support.
• Drive system integrations across enterprise platforms to improve interoperability.
• Coordinate and implement companywide software and hardware upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Manage Active Directory cleanup efforts including account audits and policy reviews.
• Plan and execute new application rollouts with stakeholder coordination.
• Administer user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Manage endpoint configuration and software deployment via MDM platforms (Intune).
• Monitor system health and support servers, cloud environments, and network infrastructure.
• Support IT security practices including MFA and endpoint compliance.
• Mentor junior helpdesk staff and share technical knowledge.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in IT projects including migrations and tool evaluations.
