Job summary

Leidos in Maryland seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to secure large-scale collection systems aboard a multi-year program at Annapolis Junction. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining robust security measures, compliance with RMF and DoD processes, and collaboration with customer teams.

The ideal candidate has DoD 8570 IAM Level II or IAT Level III, TS/SCI with Polygraph, 12+ years of ISSO experience, and proven ability to develop security documentation such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or related field with 12+ years of experience.
• 7+ years ISSO experience supporting IC or DoD programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience with customer Info Security tool suite and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing security posture by IA initiatives and enforcing security policies and methodologies.
• Overseeing security operations for information systems and conducting vulnerability and risk assessments.
• Managing configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Developing and maintaining SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Ensuring RMF and DoD Certification and Accreditation processes are followed.
• Providing technical expertise in security policies and collaborating with stakeholders.
