Job summary

Emtakllc seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (Sr. ISSO) to support a high-priority IC/DoD customer in the Fort Meade, MD area. The Sr. ISSO will oversee security posture for information systems across the lifecycle and ensure compliance with DoD, IC, and customer requirements.

Qualified candidates will have RMF expertise, security documentation experience, and the ability to work with government stakeholders. Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, Cybersecurity or related field.
• DoD 8570/8140 compliance: IAM Level II or IAT Level III, CISSP/Associate or CASP+/SecurityX or equivalent.
• 7+ years ISSO experience with IC/DoD programs of similar scope.
• Experience with RMF and security authorization lifecycle.
• Experience composing/updating SSPs and RMF docs.
• Experience with security controls, POA&Ms, remediation, ATO support.

Senior Information Systems Security Officer (Sr. ISSO)

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Information Systems Security Officer (Sr. ISSO) to support a high-priorityIntelligence Community (IC)/Department of Defense (DoD) customer in the Fort Meade, Maryland area. The Sr. ISSO will be responsible for supporting the security posture of assigned information systems throughout the system lifecycle and ensuring compliance with applicable DoD, IC, and customer security requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background inRMF, security documentation, authorization activities, continuous monitoring, and security compliance, along with the ability to work independently with technical teams and government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• DoD 8570/8140 compliance withIAM Level II or IAT Level III, such as CISSP/Associate, CASP+/SecurityX, or another applicable DoD-approved certification.
• 7+ years of ISSO experience supporting IC or DoD programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience withRisk Management Framework (RMF) and the security authorization lifecycle.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and updatingSystem Security Plans (SSPs) and related RMF documentation.
• Experience with security controls, POA&Ms, vulnerability remediation, continuous monitoring, assessments, and ATO support.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with system owners, engineers, administrators, security personnel, and government stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience supporting aFort Meade, MD three‑letter Intelligence Community customer.
• Experience withSTE/STN (Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Network).
• Experience withLatteArt, Biscotti, and Xacata.
• Experience managing multiple SSPs and security authorization packages.

Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required customer access.
