Job summary

Power3 Solutions invites applications for a Sr. Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Laurel, MD. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph and will support implementing and enforcing security policies across information systems.

You will maintain security documentation, perform risk assessments, and assist with authorization activities under NIST RMF, contributing to the CIS posture and compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four years of additional ISSO experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems and assist with day-to-day security operations.
• Prepare and review documentation (SSPs, Risk Assessments, C&A packages, SRTMs) per NIST RMF.
• Manage and control changes to the system and assess security impact; support ISSM for IA posture.
