Job summary

Capstone Technology Partners is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at the TS/SCI level with MD polygraph for Hanover, Maryland. The ISSO will lead security architecture and RMF accreditation activities, including SSP development and ATO support, for ICAM and Zero Trust projects.

You will collaborate with ISSM, DAOs, and software engineers to ensure continuous monitoring, patch management, and compliance with C&A requirements while reporting status to leadership.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of relevant work experience on ISSO programs.
• Experience with RMF, ICD 503/NIST 800-53.
• Familiar with ATO process and SSP development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare system security plans (SSP) and support ATOs.
• Review RMF artifacts: system architecture, risk assessments, POA&Ms, data flows.
• Coordinate with ISSM and DAOs to maintain accreditation.
• Verify C&A Packages, SAR findings, POA&Ms, and SSPs meet thresholds.
• Apply continuous monitoring to evaluate security posture.
• Create tasking for developers and admins for patches and changes.
• Oversee software patching to maintain security posture.
• Implement and enforce information systems security policies and methodologies.
• Familiar with vulnerability tools (ACAS/Nessus) to document compliance.
• Review Audit Logs weekly.
• Perform data transfers from Hanover to Ft. Meade weekly.
• Maintain assessment and authorization statuses and issues.
