Job summary

Amentum in Maryland is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) 2 for a new prime contract based out of the Maryland office.

The role provides support for information assurance, information security policies, RMF, SSPs, and risk assessments, ensuring security operations across the system. It requires a DoD 8570 IAM I level and TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance, with extensive IT/cybersecurity experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 12 years combined IT/cybersecurity experience required.
• Experience implementing information systems security policies and standards.
• Familiarity with NIST RMF and security authorization processes.

Responsibilities

• Support information assurance program for a program, organization, or enclave.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and risk documentation.
• Assist with security authorization activities per NIST RMF.
• Provide Configuration Management for security software/hardware.
