Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Poly and focuses on implementing and enforcing information security across complex systems.

You will lead assessments, maintain SSPs and IA documentation, coordinate Certification & Accreditation, and manage IAVA responses while participating in security evaluations and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years of ISSO experience.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience using tools to support IAVA management.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience using tools to support SSPs and security documentation.
• Experience with security evaluations of software systems or architectures.
• Experience coordinating and enforcing information systems security policies on large IT programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist in evaluating security solutions meeting requirements for processing multiple information types.
• Maintain configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Develop and maintain documentation for Certification & Accreditation per policies.
• Develop and update system security plans and IA documentation.
• Support IAVA management and system security scans.
• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms for the information system.
