Job summary

Synergy ECP is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires U.S. citizenship and a TS/SCI clearance. The candidate will assist the ISSM in maintaining the operational IA posture for the system and will support security programs and policy development.

DoD 8570 Level III IA compliance is required. A BS in a related field with 10 years of experience is expected, with substitution allowed for years of experience per COR guidelines.

Qualifications

• B.S in a related field and 10 years of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering may substitute for four years of experience.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Level III Information Assurance Technology.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to the ISSM for maintaining the operational IA posture for a system or enclave.
• Assists in maintaining the information system security posture and coordination with Government.
• Supports security matters involving the information system for the Government.
• Develops the system security policy and ensures routine policy compliance.
• Develops and updates the system security plan; manages changes and assesses security impact.
