Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions seeks a Senior Information Security Officer to lead security across a large software development program at Fort Meade. The role oversees information systems security, IAVA management, and policy enforcement, ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

The candidate will develop security plans, coordinate with ISSM, and maintain the IA posture for the enclave, including certification and accreditation activities and vulnerability remediation. TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years as ISSO with independent or team roles.
• At least 5 years using IAVA management tools.
• At least 5 years maintaining SSPs and security docs.
• Experience evaluating software security and enforcing policies.

Responsibilities

• Support implementing information systems security policies and standards.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet processing requirements for multiple information types.
• Maintain system security documentation and configuration management.
• Analyze threats and implement incident detection and remediation.
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
• Support ISRM/IA posture and certification activities.
• Develop and update system security plans and IA documentation.
• Manage IAVA responses and security scans across sites.
• Provide CM for security-relevant software/hardware/firmware.
• Develop system security policy and ensure compliance.
• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms.
