Job summary

Leidos in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security for a major software development program. You will work within a team of security professionals to implement strategies that detect threats, mitigate vulnerabilities, and protect critical data.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 10+ years as an ISSO, and experience supporting SSPs, IAVA management, and security evaluations on large IT programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years ISSO-related experience.
• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• 10+ years ISSO experience, independently or in teams.
• 5+ years using IAVA management tools.
• 5+ years using SSP documentation tools.
• Experience evaluating security of software/architectures.
• Experience implementing security policies on large programs.
• Strong initiative, team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce information systems security policies and standards.
• Evaluate security solutions against requirements for processing multiple information types.
• Manage configuration for ISS software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and implement incident detection and remediation.
• Maintain records on systems and upgrades (workstations/servers/routers/firewalls).
• Support ISSM to maintain IA posture for systems/enclaves.
• Develop and update System Security Plans and IA documentation.
• Support IAVA management and patching across sites.
