Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a large software development program at Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on implementing information systems security, managing IAVA, sustaining SSPs, and maintaining the IA posture across multiple environments.

The candidate will work with security professionals to detect threats, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 12+ years of relevant experience, additional experience may substitute.
• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
• 10+ years as ISSO or equivalent security operations experience.
• 5+ years of IAVA management experience.
• 5+ years of SSP and IA documentation experience.
• Experience evaluating security solutions and enforcing policies.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet requirements for processing information.
• Maintain CM for security-related software, hardware, and firmware.
• Develop and update system security plans and IA documentation.
• Provide IAVA management and remediation for vulnerabilities.
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
• Support ISSM in maintaining appropriate IA posture.
