Belay Technologies, a Columbia, MD-based DoD contractor, seeks an experienced Senior ISSO to lead information systems security for a large software development program. The role covers policy enforcement, risk management, SSPs, system security plans, and IA documentation across diverse environments.

The candidate will collaborate with ISSM, implement IAVA responses, and uphold a robust security posture while supporting DoD-compliant operations and lifecycle security activities.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years of ISSO experience, independently or on teams
• Minimum 5 years of IAVA management experience
• Minimum 5 years of SSPs and security documentation experience
• Experience with security tools, hardware/software security, encryption and protocols
• Experience evaluating security of software systems or architectures
• Experience enforcing information systems security policies on large programs
• Strong self-initiative and team-player mentality
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist in evaluating security solutions to meet security requirements for processing multiple types of information.
• Assist with Configuration Management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and develop best practice methodologies for incident detection, reporting, and remediation.
• Maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, switches, etc. to include upgrades.
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing information.
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
• Support ISSM in maintaining the operational IA posture for a system/program/enclave.
• Develop and maintain Certification & Accreditation documentation and IA artifacts.
• Develop and update system security plans and other IA documentation.
• Support Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) management and remediation.
• Provide CM for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware.
