Belay Technologies is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for a large software development program based in Columbia, Maryland. The role involves developing and implementing security strategies to detect and mitigate threats, protect critical data, and assess system vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities include enforcing security policies, evaluating security solutions, managing IAVA and SSP-related documentation, and maintaining IA posture with the ISSM.

Formación

• 10+ years experience as ISSO, operating in complex secure environments
• 5+ years using tools to support IAVA management
• 5+ years creating SSPs and security documentation
• Experience evaluating security for software systems or architectures
• Experience implementing information systems security policies on large programs
• Strong self-initiative and team-player mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsabilidades

• Implement and enforce information systems security policies and standards
• Evaluate security solutions for processing multiple information types
• Maintain system security incident response and vulnerability remediation practices
• Maintain records of network devices and system upgrades
• Develop and update system security plans and IA documentation
• Support ISSM to maintain operational IA posture
