Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our onsite team in Forest, Mississippi. You will work with the ISSM to ensure adherence to NIST SPs, DAAPM, JSIG, and NISPOM in a DoD-relevant environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring security posture, auditing, and updating cybersecurity documentation. A Security+ or equivalent certification is expected within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant work.
• Advanced Degree in related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity, IT, RMF/DAAPM/JSIG/NISPOM or related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring system compliance, auditing, security plan development and awareness.
• Investigating information system security violations and preparing corrective/preventive action reports.
• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests within authority.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools.
• Supporting the creation, review and update of cybersecurity documentation.
