Job summary

RTX in Forest, Mississippi seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II for 100% onsite work. You will oversee cybersecurity compliance, perform risk-based assessments, and mentor ISSOs across the organization. The role requires DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with occasional travel.

You will lead technical security initiatives, advise on policy, and coordinate with multiple programs to ensure secure operations in DoD and federal contexts.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG and risk-based assessment.
• Background in cybersecurity, systems security or hardening.
• Knowledge of DoD/government security requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve configuration management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools.
• Support ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers with documentation.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure policy implementation.
• Occasional travel to other Raytheon locations (10-20%).
