Job summary

RTX in Forest, Mississippi, is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to join our onsite cybersecurity team. The ISSO will oversee compliance, assessments, and operations for assigned information systems and mentor ISSOs on day-to-day issues.

You will conduct cybersecurity reviews per DoD/NIST directives, serve as SME, and support documentation updates while traveling occasionally to other Raytheon sites. Candidates must obtain/maintain security clearance and be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or
• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• IAM Level I certification (Security+ or other)
• Relevant Experience Considered in any combination: Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening
• Information Technology Compliance-based auditing using RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and/or non-defense regulations such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, or HIPPA
• Experience with computer technologies (databases, OS, network hardware, software, electronics)
• Physical security/security, policework/criminal justice, investigations, or Border Patrol
• Project or program management, office management, senior administration, or account management
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance AFTER START is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments
• Integrating new Cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools
• Support ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers in creating, reviewing and updating Cybersecurity documentation
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure implementation of policies and procedures
• Intermittent travel to other Raytheon locations (10-20%)
