Job summary

RTX is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support our onsite security team in Forest, Mississippi. You will work with the ISSM to ensure compliance with NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, JSIG and related standards, sustaining cybersecurity for our DoD-focused environment.

Candidates must have a university degree, 2+ years of relevant experience, and be eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance (citizenship required).

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience in cybersecurity, systems security or hardening; RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM; compliance-based auditing.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• System compliance, auditing, security plan development and security education and awareness.
• Investigating information system security violations and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives.
• Security sustainment activities (hardware change management, software change management, account management, media protection, user interface, file transfers).
