Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Huntsville, AL to support FBI mission objectives. The role involves developing and refining a methodology for categorizing FBI IT systems with emphasis on security, operations, and mission factors.

The ideal candidate has extensive federal cybersecurity experience, RMF, and strong stakeholder coordination. The ISSO will support labor/cost reporting, ATO lifecycle activities, and ongoing security governance

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience with system categorization and security control compliance.
• Knowledge of FIPS-199, NIST SP 800-37/53, CNSS 1253, RMF processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FBI IT system categorization methodology.
• Apply methodology across assigned systems per task order timelines.
• Provide labor mapping and cost recovery reporting inputs.
• Support RMF compliance and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with program leadership and reviewers to ensure transparency.
