Job summary

Agile Defense, LLC is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at the Senior level to support FBI programs from Quantico, VA. The ISSO will help develop and refine FBI IT system categorization methods based on security, operational, and mission factors.

The role requires RMF experience, strong governance and risk management skills, and coordination with multiple stakeholders in a complex, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in federal cybersecurity compliance and RMF.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders in a mission-driven environment.
• Knowledge of FIPS-199, NIST RMF, CNSS 1253 overlays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain methodology to categorize FBI IT systems by security factors.
• Categorize by classification level, FBI division, NS s designation, FIPS-199 impact level, hosting location, CNSS 1253 overlays, data types, and mission function.
• Apply the methodology across assigned systems per task order timelines.
• Ensure methodology aligns with standards such as FIPS-199 and NIST RMF.
