Job summary

Targeted Solutions, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer III to maintain the security posture of DoD information systems, including SAP/SCIF environments. The role collaborates with the ISSM and ISO to manage RMF packages, authorization documentation, and security training across systems and environments.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of related experience, DoD IAM Level II certification, and TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years related experience in RMF/DoD security posture
• 2+ years SAP experience; DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II
• TS/SCI clearance required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with authorization packages and RMF documentation

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization decisions.
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems for compliance with security packages.
• Coordinate changes to hardware/software with ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features are operational.
• Maintain current security-related documentation and access controls.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
• Attend required security training related to duties.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare status reports on security safeguards.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers.
• Conduct continuous monitoring under authorization boundaries.
