Job summary

SOSI is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead RMF for Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Honolulu. You will secure mission-critical IT operations across the Pacific and drive real-time C2 security.

You will own the RMF lifecycle, coordinate eMASS, STIG reviews, and patch management, delivering executive-level insights in a high-stakes DoD environment to protect assets and ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent certifications.
• Six years of cybersecurity/RMF-related experience.
• Understanding of NIST 800-53r5, RMF, EO 14028, and M-22-09.
• Experience with eMASS.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in formulating and maintaining an organized security program.
• Establish secure systems for classified processing and manage security audits.
• Develop and supervise security guidelines and policies.
• Manage eMASS packages with security authorizations.
• Coordinate inspections, tests, and reviews of information security.
• Contribute expertise to incident response and asset protection.
• Understand ACAS to support patch and vulnerability management.
• Review STIGs and ensure quarterly updates.
• Ensure CM compliance for hardware/software authorization.
• Engage external stakeholders to process interconnection requests.
• Maintain knowledge of system security measures and policies.
• Manage the information security continuous monitoring plan.
• Record vulnerabilities POA&Ms and report serious violations.
• Evaluate changes affecting security authorization.
