Job summary

Frontier Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior ISSO with leadership to join a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment in Colorado Springs.

The role blends technical execution with people leadership, with ~90% hands-on DevOps work and ~10% coaching and coordination. The candidate will work with Engineering Managers and other teams to ensure compliance with AF cybersecurity policies, manage access controls, and coordinate changes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, engineering, mathematics or a related technical field is desired.
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Previous leadership experience with demonstrated ability to support team development, coordination, or cross-functional collaboration.
• Security+ certification is required
• Experience working with DoD and/or IC space system acquisition programs.
• Understanding of RMF and DoD/IC cybersecurity requirements, policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• DevOps responsibilities: Implements and enforces AF cybersecurity policies, procedures, and countermeasures.
• Technical Services Manager responsibilities: Staffing coordination, coaching, and career development.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support employee growth.
• Promote a unified team culture built on trust, inclusion, accountability, transparency, and psychological safety.
• Monitor team workload, morale, and objectives; collaborate with leadership to meet priorities.
• Support cross-team communication to ensure engineers have visibility and support across the organization.
