Job summary

FTI is seeking a Senior ISSO with leadership interest to join a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team in Colorado Springs. The role blends hands-on DevOps security with people leadership, working with Engineering Managers and Technical Services teams to drive secure, reliable systems.

The role requires implementing AF cybersecurity policies, RMF, and certification processes, while mentoring staff and coordinating with security offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, engineering, mathematics or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Previous leadership experience with mentoring or management responsibilities.
• Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Experience with DoD and IC space system acquisition programs.
• Understanding of RMF and DoD/IC cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• DevOps security: implement and enforce AF cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
• Maintain access control documentation and ensure proper configuration management.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM, SCA, and Wing Cybersecurity office; respond to incidents.
• Lead staffing and coaching activities; foster a culture of trust, inclusion and accountability.
• Travel up to 10% as needed to support program objectives.
