Job summary

AnaVation, LLC is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to lead cybersecurity engineering, RMF execution, and risk management across DoD software factories and enterprise cloud environments. The ISSM will work with Government leadership, COT, CPT, and DevSecOps teams to maintain secure cloud-native capabilities while accelerating software delivery.

The role requires full-time on-site support in San Antonio, TX, with collaboration across mission engineering,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience implementing RMF and achieving Authority to Operate (ATO).
Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly and U.S. Citizenship.
Proven leadership in cybersecurity for DoD missions and software factories.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for cybersecurity engineering, RMF execution, and continuous operations across software delivery environments.
Lead RMF implementation for initial ATOs and ongoing cATO across multiple value streams.
Coordinate assessments with Authorizing Officials, Security Control Assessors, and engineering teams.
Integrate cybersecurity requirements into Agile/SAFe development practices and DevSecOps pipelines.
Support zero-trust, cloud security, and Kubernetes/OpenShift hardening across environments.
