Job summary

AnaVation, LLC seeks a highly skilled Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for full-time on-site work in San Antonio, TX. The ISSO will implement RMF, support continuous monitoring, and ensure DoD cybersecurity policy compliance across classified environments.

You will collaborate with ISSMs, ISSEs, DevSecOps, and government leadership to maintain secure cloud-native capabilities while enabling rapid software delivery via Continuous Authority to Operate (cATO).

Qualifications

• Clearance: U.S. Citizen, TS/SCI with CI Poly within last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certification: Security+, CySA+, CASP+ or equivalent DoD 8140 certification.
• Location: Full-time on-site in San Antonio, TX.
• Nine+ years supporting DoD cybersecurity missions and RMF implementation.

Responsibilities

• Execute RMF activities and support system authorization and continuous monitoring.
• Maintain RMF documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, inventories, and artifacts.
• Support assessments by Security Control Assessors, CPTs, and Authorizing Officials.
• Monitor cybersecurity posture and coordinate remediation of findings.
• Support Zero Trust, cloud security, Kubernetes/OpenShift security, and DevSecOps practices.
