Job summary

AnaVation is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to implement cybersecurity across DoD software factories and cloud environments in San Antonio. You will work with government leadership, ISSMs, ISSEs, and DevSecOps teams to maintain secure cloud-native capabilities while enabling rapid software delivery through Continuous Authority to Operate (cATO).

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, a DoD cybersecurity certification, and a strong RMF background.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Assurance, or related field preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute RMF activities and support system authorization and continuous monitoring.
Maintain RMF documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs) and security artifacts.
Support cybersecurity assessments and vulnerability management.
Collaborate with Government leadership, ISSMs, ISSEs, DevSecOps, and cloud engineers to secure Agile development.
Prepare technical documentation and cybersecurity metrics for decision-making.
Operate across Unclassified, Secret, and SCI environments.
