Job summary

Strategic Business Systems (SBS) in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced Information System Security Manager (ISSM) with TS/SCI to lead RMF, ATOs, and AWS security for secured cloud environments. This full-time, onsite role requires strong DoD/IC experience and collaboration with engineers, security teams, and customers.

The ISSM will oversee SSPs, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability management, ensuring compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and DoD guidance while guiding leadership and program

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information assurance or cybersecurity within DoD/IC contexts.
• Experience leading RMF authorization and maintaining ATOs.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ISSM for AWS environments.
• Lead cybersecurity governance across the system lifecycle.
• Mentor ISSOs and coordinate security activities across teams.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&M, and security policies.
• Advise leadership on risk, compliance, and authorization strategy.
• Ensure security requirements are integrated into architecture and operations.
