Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to lead secure cloud programs and ensure RMF accreditation for classified systems. You will guide ISSOs, collaborate with DevOps and Security teams, and own the security posture across development and operations.

You will manage RMF artifacts, support ATO/IATT, and implement Zero Trust architecture with cloud-native security solutions while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level III certification such as CISSP or CISM.
• At least three (3) years of experience in an ISSM or security role.
• Experience leading small to mid-size teams and driving accountability.
• Experience performing risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, and/or security audits.
• Experience providing cybersecurity education and/or tabletop exercises.
• Experience with security incident response teams (NOC/SOC).

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team (5–10 individuals) and drive accountability.
• Develop, sustain, and maintain RMF documentation packages (SSP, SAP, SAR, POA&M, ConMon).
• Lead development and sustainment of ATO, IATT, IRP, and BoE.
• Maintain the security posture aligned with authorization packages and ATO requirements.
• Collaborate with Security Engineers, DevOps, and IT operations to evaluate risk and ensure compliance, including ZTA requirements.
• Implement cloud-native security solutions such as encryption, IAM, and network segmentation.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams (MBSE).
• Engage with Change Control Board (CCB) and coordinate with ISSMs and AO/SCA teams.
• Lead and train ISSO workflows; perform continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and POA&M updates.
• Verify clearance, need-to-know, and security responsibilities prior to access; ensure audit records and anomalies are documented.
• Conduct regular system security reviews to ensure compliance with STIG/CIS benchmarks.
• Coordinate hardware/software/firmware changes with ISSM/AO/DAO and notify stakeholders of security changes.
• Participate in incident handling and reporting of security incidents; track recovery actions.
