Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support secure DoD cloud systems and programs. The ISSO will ensure compliance, monitor cybersecurity posture, and assist the ISSM in protecting classified systems across development, operations, and security teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with RMF/JSIG, vulnerability management, and security tooling, plus a active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in an ISSO or equivalent security role.
• Hands-on experience (3 years) with SIEM, vulnerability management, and compliance tools.
• Experience with RMF/JSIG accreditation lifecycle and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and risk analysis with POA&M updates.
• Maintain security posture aligned with authorization packages and ATO requirements.
• Verify clearance, need-to-know, and security responsibilities before system access.
• Ensure audit records are captured and reviewed; document anomalies.
• Develop RMF documentation such as SSP, SAR, POA&M, ConMon; support ATO.
