Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to secure DoD cloud systems and programs. You will ensure compliance, monitor cybersecurity posture, support RMF/JSIG accreditation, and assist the ISSM in protecting classified systems.

You will work with development, operations, and security teams to implement RMF controls, maintain documentation, and coordinate security changes across environments in a fast‑paced federal setting.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification; hands-on experience in ISSO or equivalent security role.
• Hands-on experience with RMF/JSIG accreditation lifecycle and continuous monitoring.
• Experience with risk management, security controls, and cloud security in DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and risk analysis; validate remediation actions and document POA&M updates.
• Maintain security posture consistent with authorization package and ATO requirements.
• Verify clearance, need-to-know, and security responsibilities prior to system access.
• Ensure audit records are captured, reviewed, and anomalies documented.
• Develop and maintain RMF documentation packages (SSP, SAP, SAR, POA&M, ConMon).
• Support ATO packages and Body of Evidence (BoE).
• Coordinate changes with ISSM/AO/DAO and notify stakeholders of security-relevant changes.
• Collaborate with Security Engineers, DevOps, and IT to evaluate risk and ensure Zero Trust Architecture requirements.
