Job summary

A defense contracting firm is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in Torrance, CA, to oversee classified networks and ensure compliance with security standards. Must have a TS/SCI clearance and 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity within the DoD. Qualifications

• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), information technology and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• 5 years in DoD/IC Cybersecurity as ISSM and must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for IAM-III within 6 months of the date of hire (CISSP, CISM, GSLC).
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required prior to start date.

• Lead RMF/JSIG/DAAPM execution architecture and prepare authorization packages.
• Own continuous monitoring vulnerability and patch management.
• Develop policies and procedures for responding to security incidents.
