Job summary

Praescient Analytics seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer – Senior (ISSE Senior) to support a high-profile federal program in Washington, DC. Responsibilities center on secure design, RMF execution, and security gap closure across enterprise portfolios.

The ideal candidate will lead contractor teams, configure security controls (MFA, logging), and contribute to SSPs while maintaining a focus on least-privilege data flows and risk mitigation. Must hold TS/SCI with polygraph post-hire.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in secure design, analysis, and testing of information security systems.
• Eight years of experience applying federal methods and standards.
• Eight years of experience creating and updating security test plans.

Responsibilities

• Advise on cybersecurity architecture and integrate security configurations into solutions.
• Implement MFA, centralized logging, and vulnerability remediation.
• Prepare System Security Plans and ensure least-privilege data flows.
• Develop remediation approaches for identified control gaps.
