Job summary

Praescient Analytics is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer – Senior (ISSE Senior) to support a high-profile federal ISaaS program in Washington, DC. You will lead security architecture, implement MFA, central logging, and vulnerability remediation while guiding contractor teams through RMF processes.

The ideal candidate has eight+ years in secure design and testing, with active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph post-hire) and certifications such as CISSP or CEH.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in secure design, analysis, and testing of information systems.
• Eight+ years applying federal methods and standards for security documentation.
• Eight+ years creating and updating security test plans.

Responsibilities

• Advise on cybersecurity architecture and integrate security configurations into planned solutions.
• Lead remediation of control gaps and implement MFA, centralized logging, and vulnerability measures.
• Contribute to SSP development ensuring least privilege data flows.
• Supervise IT/security teams and coordinate with contractor staff.
