Job summary

Praescient Analytics seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer – Senior (ISSE Senior) to support a federal law enforcement program in Washington, DC. The role focuses on integrating security configurations into planned solutions, engineering cloud-based architectures, and closing technical security gaps across enterprise portfolios.

The ideal candidate will lead contractor teams, implement RMF, and produce secure configurations such as MFA, centralized logging, and vulnerability

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in secure design, analysis, and testing of information security systems.
• Eight+ years applying federal methods and standards to ensure security safeguards are documented.
• Eight+ years creating and updating security test plans to detect and mitigate risks.
• Documented leadership experience supervising IT or security teams.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (Polygraph required post-hire).
• Must possess at least one of the following active certifications: CISSP or CEH.

Responsibilities

• Advisory & Design: serve as a principal technical advisor on cybersecurity architecture and security configurations.
• Controls Implementation: work with teams to implement MFA, centralized logging, and vulnerability remediation.
• SSP: provide input for SSP development ensuring data flows follow least privilege.
• Gap Remediation: develop remediation approaches for control gaps identified in self-assessments.
