Job summary

Praescient Analytics is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer – Senior to support a DoD/federal law enforcement ISaaS program in Washington, DC. You will lead teams to design secure configurations, implement RMF processes, and ensure secure authorizations across enterprise portfolios.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in secure design, strong leadership, and active TS/SCI clearance (Polygraph post-hire).

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in secure design, analysis, and testing of information security systems.
• Eight or more years applying federal methods and standards to document security safeguards.
• Eight or more years creating and updating security test plans to detect and mitigate risks.
• Proven leadership supervising teams of IT or security professionals.

Responsibilities

• Advisory & Design: act as principal cybersecurity architecture advisor for secure configurations.
• Controls Implementation: implement MFA, centralized logging, and vulnerability remediation with teams.
• SSP Contributions: provide input for SSP development aligning data flows with least privilege.
• Gap Remediation: develop remediation approaches for control gaps from self-assessments.
