Job summary

Entarian is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide technical cybersecurity engineering support for secure information systems across the lifecycle, integrating cybersecurity into architectures and ensuring RMF compliance.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of DoD/IC security engineering experience, a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and hands-on RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and security control implementation working with ISSM/ISSO and government

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Integrate cybersecurity requirements into system architecture and documentation across the lifecycle.
• Engineer, implement, and validate security controls per NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoD guidance.
• Perform architecture reviews, vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and mitigation planning.
• Develop and maintain SSP content, control statements, and security diagrams.
• Support RMF artifacts such as SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms, and continuous monitoring documentation.
